What is keyTouch-editor Live? |
by Marvin Raaijmakers |
KeyTouch needs information about your keyboard model to support it. If your keyboard is not supported yet, you can easily get it supported. For this purpose keyTouch provides a simple application called keyTouch-editor. KeyTouch-editor Live is a Live CD (based on Knoppix) containing keyTouch-editor. You put this CD-ROM into your friends computer and create a keyboard file for his or her keyboard, without having to install Linux. You can help the keyTouch project by creating keyboard files with this CD-ROM and sending them to marvinr(at)users.sf.net. To use keyTouch-editor Live you can download the 139 MB ISO image and burn it on a CD-ROM. See the keyTouch-editor documentation for using keyTouch-editor on the Live CD. |
